On my iTunes library this morning i was listening to Wizkid joints and i saw my self dancing and singing to some oldies only for me to figure out some of those songs didn’t even make any project. Then this compilation came to birth

Here are 9 “classic” Wizkid loosies that were hot enough to appear on an album, but for whatever reason, didn’t make it.

9. Love Music (Outro) (2013) : A track that was destined to be the outro of Wizkid’s JOY album, but for whatever reason didn’t make it. The song is definitely better than some of the final cuts on the album

8. Drop ft. Wale (2013): The first of the 3 songs Wizkid and Wale recorded together, the best of the three, unfortunately the only one that didn’t make any of Wizkid’s project. Heads and shoulder above Murder which made Ayo album

7. Zombie Freestyle (2012): A song to further claim Wizkid’s position as the best freestyle artiste in the country. If Tease Me made an album, Zombie definitely deserves a spot in a project

6. Lagos To Soweto (2013): I don’t particularly rate this song very highly but Wizkid does. He even shot a video for Lagos 2 Soweto in Soweto, South Africa but as usual, it didn’t make any cut. This one has a reason. The song was released when Wizkid was at war with EME, when he came back with the record label, the song had to be dismissed.

5. Sweet Potato (2013): Produced by Victorius Icon, Sweet Potato was a very catchy love song that got massive airplay nationwide. Another loosie song.

4. Sisi Nene (2012): A hit track. The song even had more than 20 covers from upcoming artiste thanks to the catchy hook and empty verse (The song only had 2 verses insted of 3)

3. Back To The Matter (2013): Wizkid continues to perform this song at shows even in 2014. The song however, is not involved in any project. The video currently has 4.3 million views on Youtube. #factsOnly

2. Beat of Life (Samba) (2012): One of Wizkid’s biggest song yet. But one way or the other, Sarz (The owner of the song) failed to put the song on any project. This record did not even get a video. Such disappointment.

1. Azonto (2012): Wizkid was surprised by the success the song got. The video wasn’t released until more than 1 year after the song dropped. This song made Wizkid millions of Naira. Failed to make any album for the same reason Lagos To Soweto didn’t.
