85% of Bayelsa state is said to have been submerged by flood. The President of Nigeria, Goodluck Jonathan wasn’t spared as his country home was submerged by the flood.
Bayelsa state government has ordered a complete evacuation from the flooded areas.
The flood is said to have been caused by the release of water from Lagdo Dam in Cameroun.
